Turn a TikTok workout into a plan

Last updated

Quick answer

Tap the Share arrow on the TikTok, choose Share to or More, and pick DoSaveIt. It detects a workout and lists exercises with sets, reps and rest where they are shown or said. Check it against the video, then add the sessions to your calendar so the workout has a time.

From TikTok to a scheduled workout

  1. Open the share menu

Open the workout video in TikTok and tap the Share arrow.

  2. Choose Share to or More

In the share sheet, scroll the app row and tap Share to, or More if you do not see it.

  3. Pick DoSaveIt

Choose DoSaveIt from the list of apps. The link is sent to the app, which tells you when your result is ready.

  4. Review the exercise list

Open the workout card. Confirm exercises, sets, reps and rest times against the video, and edit anything that looks off.

  5. Pick your days

Choose realistic days and a start time. Two or three fixed sessions beat a perfect plan you never start.

  6. Add it to your calendar

Use the one-tap action to create calendar events, and tick exercises off during the session.

Common questions

Can I trust the plan?

Treat it as a transcription of the video, not coaching. If you are new to exercise, have an injury or a health condition, check with a qualified professional first.

What if the video does not say the reps?

The card shows only what it can find. Missing numbers are left blank rather than invented, so fill them in or follow the on-screen timer.

No app: what is the quick way?

Pause on each exercise, write the name and the count, and put the whole list in one note with the days you will do it.
