How to save TikToks to Notion

Last updated

Quick answer

The simplest way is to copy the TikTok link and paste it into a Notion page or database. For steps and checklists, share the TikTok to DoSaveIt, then copy the result into Notion. A direct Notion connector is planned for the Max plan but is not available yet.

Two ways to get a TikTok into Notion

  1. Make a place in Notion

Create a page or a database with columns such as Link, Topic and Status.

  2. Quick way: paste the link

In TikTok tap the Share arrow, then Copy link, and paste it into Notion. Notion shows it as a bookmark you can open later.

  3. Richer way: share to DoSaveIt

Open the video in TikTok and tap the Share arrow.

  4. Choose Share to or More

In the share sheet, scroll the app row and tap Share to, or More if you do not see it.

  5. Pick DoSaveIt

Choose DoSaveIt from the list of apps. The link is sent to the app, which tells you when your result is ready.

  6. Copy the result

Open the result in DoSaveIt, copy the steps or checklist, and paste them under the link in Notion.

  7. Watch for the connector

A Notion connector that does this automatically is planned for Max. It is not available yet.

Common questions

Is there a DoSaveIt to Notion integration today?

Not yet. It is planned for the Max plan. Until then, copy the result and paste it into Notion.

Will pasted checklists stay tickable?

Notion usually turns plain list lines into regular bullets. You can convert them to to-do items inside Notion.

Does Notion save the video itself?

No. It stores the link. If the creator removes the video, the link stops working.

Want this done for you? DoSaveIt turns what you share into steps, checklists and plans. It is launching on Android first.
