How to save Instagram Reels and find them later

Quick answer
Tap the bookmark icon under a Reel to add it to your private Saved list, and long-press the icon to choose a collection. To find it later, open your profile menu, tap Saved, then pick a collection. If you want steps or a checklist from the Reel, share it to DoSaveIt as well.
Save a Reel and find it again
Save the Reel
Tap the bookmark icon under the Reel. Instagram changes its layout from time to time, so if you do not see it, open the three-dot menu and choose Save.
Put it in a collection
Long-press the bookmark icon (or tap the collection prompt after saving) and pick or create a collection, such as Recipes or Ideas.
Find it later
Go to your profile, open the menu, tap Saved, then choose All posts or a collection.
Optional: share it to DoSaveIt
Open the Reel in Instagram and tap the paper-plane (share) icon.
Choose Share to or More
In the share sheet, scroll the app row and tap Share to, or More if you do not see it.
Pick DoSaveIt
Choose DoSaveIt from the list of apps. The link is sent to the app, which tells you when your result is ready.
Act on the result
When the result is ready, open it for the steps, checklist or plan and send it to your calendar, reminders or notes.
